Why do I need to download the desktop app?

  • Axure vs Mockplus vs Balsamiq vs Invision When it comes to building a prototype for your new App project, there is nothing more frustrating than picking up a proper tool among the overwhelmed.
  • I prefer to be honest and do my work with a clear understanding of working process, so good communication is a must. In my opinion, to make any project run successfully need a clear understanding and necessary skills. Here is the list of tools what I'm using: Sketch, Figma, Axure, Zeplin, Invision, Adobe CS.

Zeplin works with a plugin in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD and Photoshop. When you download the Mac or Windows app, it automatically installs these plugins for you.

After I have a clickable mockup ready at any stage and uploaded onto Axshare, I share the unique link with stakeholders. Now while creating the RP file itself, Axure provides us following options- 1. Page Notes Tab: Short description.

If you’re a designer, you can export your designs using these plugins through the desktop app. Then Zeplin generates all of the resources that developers need like specs, assets and code snippets, tailored to the platform's needs (iOS, Android, Web and macOS).

If you’re a developer, you can use Zeplin’s web app to access the projects: https://app.zeplin.io. It's not required for you to download the desktop apps.

Axure To Zeppelin Meaning

Prototyping links helps everyone understand the relationship between designs. It also makes it easier to quickly jump between screens without even going back to the project dashboard.

When you export your artboards/frames containing prototyping links to Zeplin, these links will be clickable in Zeplin as well, with no additional setup.

☝️ You can export prototyping links from artboards and frames in Sketch, Figma and Adobe XD. However, prototyping is sadly not available on Photoshop at this time.

When you select a layer that is within a hotspot, the right details panel will show that this layer is part of a hot spot. Click the arrow icon located on the right of that detail to quickly jump to the destination.

You can also view all the hotspots within a screen. Hold down the Shift key and all hotspots will be revealed. Then, click on a hotspot to navigate between screens.
