- Sourcetree for macOS had several argument and command injection bugs in Mercurial and Git repository handling. An attacker with permission to commit to a repository linked in Sourcetree for macOS is able to exploit this issue to gain code execution on the system.
- After I installed macOS High Sierra, Sourcetree cannot keep track of my settings. It even forgets the window size, the toolbar elements and everything. I removed completely (delete the app and all the files/folders from /Library) and then installed it again. For a day it was working and after 2 restarts it started to forget everything.
SourceTree is the fast and easy way to work with Git and Mercurial. Easily utilise both distributed version control systems from one application. Work with your GitHub, Bitbucket, and Kiln accounts without leaving the application. Also works with Subversion servers too! Simple for beginners.
